Two-coat system is utilized for proper application of PowderGuard™ Zinc finish

In order to maximize the life cycle of your door system, it is important to protect your door system from corrosion caused by harsh environmental conditions. The Overhead Door PowderGuard™ Finish offering is designed to provide enduring performance.

State of the art powder coating system - capitalizes on a unique depth of system controls to ensure product quality through proper application and curing of powder coat
Finish Flexibility - a full spectrum of up to 215 colors. Additional custom matching option available
PowderGuard™ Zinc finish option – involves a two coat system application process of zinc rich powder for improved corrosion resistance; critical to product performance and appearance
Extensively tested and proven performance – the zinc rich powder finish offers excellent protection against corrosive environments and outperforms both hot dipped and cold galvanized steel against red and white rust
End-use matching – finish selections to provide optimal performance based on environment (i.e. UV, chemicals, salt, etc.)
Full door system protection – PowderGuard™ finishes are available on guides, bottom bars, head plates, hood, and curtain (slats)
Maximum part length – Powder coating system can accommodate a door width of up to 46 feet

Finish Details
Standard Polyester Base Coat:	Two-coat system with polyester based top coat.
PowderGuard Premium Powder Coat:	Weather resistant polyester powder coat available in 197 colors; custom color match and EZ Clean treatment options available. See Tiger Drylac® RAL Colors* Brochure for color selection.
PowderGuard Zinc Finish:	Zinc enriched powder coat provides excellent corrosion protection that outperforms both hot dipped and cold galvanized steel. Color selection from 197 powder coat colors; custom color match also available.
PowderGuard Weathered Finish:	Industrial textured powder coat provides a thicker, more scratch resistant coat for added product protection.
