External Chutes
Temporary Jobsite Chutes
Jobsites generate construction debris during new construction and renovation work. We have a temporary steel or plastic system that will allow for safe, easy and cost effective trash removal. The chute system can allow access at every floor and roof levels and deposits the trash into the dumpster at the bottom. CHUTES heavy-duty steel chute is perfect for heavy demolition and the DURACHUTE plastic system is perfect for lighter demolition, roof work, new construction and special applications like snow removal, landscaping, etc.

Steel Chutes

Plastic Chutes
CHUTES International manufactures two types of external plastic chutes. Our DURACHUTE™ System was designed to handle light-duty construction, roofing and/or light renovation work. The DURAFLAT™ Chute is a flat chute system designed to store and transport flat. Its primary use is light roofing and renovation work.
Internal Chutes
Our trash, recycling and linen chutes are made of aluminized or stainless steel, depending on the application, and come in standard sizes. As a distributor, we can also provide custom sized chutes. Our chute doors are all 100% stainless steel, front and back panels, sides and skirt. All sections are fully welded. We offer a choice of discharge for trash chutes and a standard linen hopper for laundry chutes. A fully trained staff of estimators is available to answer questions, provide training, and work with architects and/or bid and spec writers. Our chutes are found in high rise apartment buildings, office buildings, hotels and hospitals.
Linen Chutes
We designed our linen or residential laundry chutes to include the only intake door on the market with both front and back stainless steel panels and skirts. This means our laundry chutes are built to endure years of regular, heavy use.
Trash Chutes
As with our linen chutes, our trash chutes are better looking, longer lasting, easier to clean, and require less maintenance. Our trash chutes are also outfitted with the only intake door on the market with both front and back stainless panels and skirts.
Recycling Chutes
Whether your recycling general household waste or office materials, our recycling chutes can assist in your clean up. Built sturdy with a thickness of 16 ga. aluminized steel or stainless steel, and fully welded seams.
Superior Engineering and Manufacturing
As a standard, We provide a safe, accordion discharge which has been repeatedly proven as the best choice for the discharge: safer and more reliable in case of fire. Electric interlocks are pre-wired, eliminating the need for the additional cost of hiring an electrician to complete the wiring. Chute sections are shipped, pre-numbered and matching the approved as-built shop drawing for ease of installation. Our doors are individually and specially packaged to avoid damage during shipment. We also addressed some of the basic problems and issues of the standard chute when we engineered ours. For instance, by covering the hinge, debris cannot wedge into the opening, eliminating that common cause of damage. Our Total Quality Control Procedure continues to bring about improvements both small and large in manufacturing, product design and ease of installation.
Compactors/Sorters
The DuraPak compactors and DuraBaggers are built for apartment, hospital, hotel and high-rise building trash rooms. Both are built with patented, revolutionary ‘quiet’ design technology and greatly reduce the volume of haul away debris. The DB500 has a UL labeled control panel.
DuraPak™ Apartment Compactors
The DuraPak™500-HD Compactor drastically reduces the volume of trash using our patented components that keep noise levels to a minimum so that you get a quieter, more durable trash compactor that’s capable of reducing the dimensions of haul away garbage to a fraction of the original volume. Delivering exceptional quality and power while running more quietly than similar models, it works well for high-rise buildings and similar applications, such as hotels, hospitals, apartments and office buildings.
DuraBagger™ Compactors
Designed for high-rise applications, DuraBagger™ DB-100 machines are ideal choices for hotels, hospitals, apartments and office buildings. This compactor delivers exceptional quality and power while running more quietly than similar models.
DuraSorter™ Recycling Sorters
The DuraSorter™ is an ideal way to manage recycling. When combined with our internal trash chutes in multi-story buildings, the DuraSorter™ recycling sorter provides an easy method for sorting recyclables out of the waste stream. You can prevent many of the recyclable materials from entering the environment and reducing the negative impact that comes with contentious property manager. The system can be used in either new construction projects or installed as a retrofit to an existing trash chute system.
The recycling sorter is located under the trash chute. Using a control panel located at each trash chute door, the user selects the appropriate waste stream. Based on this selection, the sorter system automatically positions one or more deflector plates which directs the waste to the appropriate container.
